We are about to enter what the great Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson called “squeaky-bum time”. Next week, decisions must be made.

First, on Tuesday, Parliament will vote for a second time on Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement.

If she loses, the next day Parliament will vote on whether to remove the option of a no-deal Brexit.

Should that happen, then on Thursday Parliament will vote on whether to delay Brexit.
